Terms and Conditions

(a) General Services: Palmetto Computer Services will do anything possible to diagnose and provide a solution to any technology problem you encounter.  In some cases, complete diagnosis and solutions will not be possible because of issues that are beyond the reach of our services.

(b) Remote Support Services: If you have a computer that is less than five years old with Apple OSX or Windows XP (or newer) and it has a working high speed Internet connection, you are eligible to purchase remote support from Palmetto Computer Services.  Remote Support involves logging on to your computer through your Internet connection to see your desktop while having a chat session to inform you of our actions on your computer.  Remote Support will sometimes require the installation of new software so that we are able to log in to your computer.

(c)  You understand and agree that before allowing Palmetto Computer Services to perform a repair or other services on your computer, it is your responsibility to back-up data, applications, and information that is located on the technology that you submit to Palmetto Computer Services for repair.  You acknowledge and agree that Palmetto Computer Services will not be responsible under any circumstance or condition for the loss or corruption of data and/or software

SERVICE LIMITATIONS; LIABILITY

(a) Limitations to Service:  Palmetto Computer Services reserves the right to refrain from providing remote services to a customer if the technical needs of a customer are outside the reach of this agreement.  This will be determined by Palmetto Computer Services and your payment will be refunded partially or in whole.

(b) FORCE MAJEURE: If the tasks necessary to perform remote services are hindered, in any way, by the individual receiving services or by circumstances beyond personal control, Palmetto Computer Services can choose to discontinue your remote support subscription.

(c) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:  Palmetto Computer Services is not liable for any loss, alteration, or corruption of any data or any inability you may have to use your equipment properly. Palmetto Computer Services is only liable for damages equal to or less than the total amount you are paying for remote services.  By agreeing to receive remote services, an individual releases Palmetto Computer Services from liability for indirect and consequential damages.

SERVICE WARRANTY

If you are not completely satisfied with Palmetto Computer Services Remote Support, please call 843.575.0305 and we will resolve the problem.  Our remote support services and warranted for thirty days following the date of service.  For any problem that arises due to a virus or spyware, this warranty only remains valid if your security protection is installed or repaired during the initial repair or immediately following.  If an incident does occur and you are unsatisfied with Palmetto Computer Services Remote Support we will assist you in remedying the problem at no additional cost to you.

PRIVACY POLICY

We do not collect any personal information unless it becomes apparent that illegal activity is being conducted with the technology that we service.

We may disclose information when legally compelled to do so.
